Layer 2 · Profile options
Each profile is a weighted composite of stats the licensed feed supplies, scored within the league and role cohort. Missing features are removed and the remaining weights renormalised; a profile below the coverage floor is null, not zero.
Leaders are filtered for the profile and its coverage, then ordered by the profile score with the Aberdeen preferences applied: adjusted profile × U23 multiplier × European league-phase multiplier. U23 ≤23 ×1.30; European league phase ≥90 min ×0.60. Ranking by the value-index priority alone put the same players at the top of every attacking profile. These are preferences, not measured quality. The raw and adjusted profile scores are shown beside the priority.

Attackers
The attack is split into two explainable lenses rather than one combined “goal contributor” score. The assist-biased profile weights completed passes, key passes, pass completion, assists and successful dribbles; the goal-biased profile weights goals, shot volume, conversion and total goal contribution, and deliberately excludes pass and dribble volume. Each list is ordered by its own profile score with the U23 and European multipliers applied, not by the value-index priority: ranking both by priority produced the same order. The feed carries no crosses, so key passes are the closest available creation signal.

The value index is unchanged. A separate scouting priority applies two Aberdeen preferences: U23 players are weighted more strongly, and players who have already had a Champions League, Europa League or Conference League league-phase shop window are weighted less strongly.
